Erasmus Mundus Partnerships

ELECTRA is financed by the Europeran Union within the Erasmus Mundus Programme. Erasmus Mundus is a cooperation and mobility programme in the field of higher education that aims to enhance the quality of European higher education and to promote dialogue and understanding between people and cultures through cooperation with Third-Countries. Erasmus Mundus Programme consists of three actions:

  1. Joint Master and Doctorate Programmes
  2. Partnerships
  3. Promotion projects

ELECTRA is an Erasmus Mundus Action 2 project, a Erasmus Mundus Partnership targeted to the ENPI-States Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia and Ukraine.

The Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Partnerships are the basis for enhancing academic cooperation and exchanges of students and academics, contributing to the socio-economic development of non-EU countries targeted by EU external cooperation policy. The activities of Action 2 Partnerships are:

  • Scholarships for mobilities of various lengths and levels of studies, for European and Third-Country students, scholars, researchers and professionals.
  • Establishment of cooperation and partnerships to support the implementation of the mobilities.
